# camera motion detected

This block is part of the [`globals`](https://docs.rual.nl/block-types/globals) group and was last modified in core [`v15.0.0`](https://docs.rual.nl/core-versions/150000).

Start-of-flow trigger on the motion_event capability from a UniFi Protect camera. Momentary : a camera fires an event per detection, not a sustained occupancy state, so this fires per detection. For a presence-style occupancy sensor use presence detected instead.
