# is authenticated

This block is part of the [`http connection`](https://docs.rual.nl/block-types/http%20connection) group and was last modified in core [`v10.4.28`](https://docs.rual.nl/core-versions/100428).

Returns `true` if the user is indeed authenticated.

- connection required `httpconnection`

- authenticated `condition`

True when the connection carries a user object; false when the connection is unwired or has no user. It does not validate scopes : only the presence of an authenticated user.
