# probe

Reads width, height, duration, size and whether the file has audio : without transcoding. Runs inline (ffprobe is milliseconds), so branch on the result before deciding whether to compress.

- flow `flow`

- file required `value` Video file. Accepts a file object (from another file block) or a relative path string.

- flow `flow`

- success `condition` False when the file is missing or is not a media file ffprobe understands.

- width `number`

- height `number`

- duration ms `number`

- size bytes `number`

- has audio `condition` True when the file carries at least one audio stream.

- error `value`
